from R+D+I activities, characterizing investigator patterns and profiles and promoting
a favorable social image which justifies the return of the investment in science and
technology to society in general.
In this report, first generation quantitative relative indicators are applied to CIBERESP
scientific production, measured through the number of publications which are included
in the Web of Science (WoS) throughout 2013 and involve the participation of 48 acti-
ve CIBERESP research groups at the end of fiscal year 2013.
Productivity evolution over time
The total volume of scientific communications accumulated by CIBERESP research
groups and computed in 2013 were taken into account to obtain the indicators.
