The objective of the CIBERDEM Biobank is to make well characterized and standardized
biological samples of main metabolic disorders with a high added value available to the
scientific community to promote, facilitate and develop biomedical research according
to the laws in force.
The CIBERDEM Biobank consists of CIBERDEM groups in the following centres:

Donor information is stored in the BCGene computer platform. This application com-
plies with the requirements of Organic Law on Personal Data Protection 15/1999 and
will be accessible from all participating nodes to facilitate data entry by clinical teams.

in prediabetic patients and to identify the factors associated with those risks.
